The Endless Sound Of Greatness By Eric Taylor Escudero All the lights they shine so bright All that you´ve created Everyone is out there tonight Oh, our love has faded So won´t you dance with me tonight To the endless sound of greatness The snow´s covered our town in white Someday we will be famous And I know It´s our best piece of art Yeah, you know A mistake from the start That we´re selling for you Another way to get high A true peace of mind Another bench you can sit And watch the world pass you by It´s your best woken dreams A romantic scene It´s the world as it seems From the eyes of a stranger

We were young and it was morning - Part 1 By Eric Taylor Escudero It was a craft shop in a little town lost in the mountains I said "only you can take me back in time Only you can take me back" In a craft shop in the road that might just take me home Today the rain´s become my sweet companion Today the rain´s become my closest friend And the common question is "where d´you come from?" The common mistake is to soon be gone. She said "I never seen your face, you must be cold, you must be lost Only the ones who live here walk these streets You must be wrong, you must be lost" Time passes slow far awar from all the crowd There´s loneliness in being part of millions The loneliness in never being alone The common question is "Can we just go?" When we were about to call this place our home She said "I never seen your face, you must be cold, you must be lost Only the ones who live here walk these streets You must be wrong, you must be lost" So how does it feel to walk alone? To be one thousand miles from home? I lost myself inside your eyes I wish you´d take me back in time So how does it feel to walk alone? Now you´re one thousand miles from home? I wrote this song to freeze the time And have you always by my side.

Fountains of Blood By Eric Taylor Escudero The only thing that´ve ever expressed your thoughts better than your words were your eyes You said there was no distance that could keep you, no distance between yourself and winter skies Ideological isolation was the only gorge no one could ever cross You said the rain was good for writing So there you stood writing in the rain You said the rain was good for writing In the streets downtown Where the tourists stand You said I worry about you baby though I don´t believe that you lack any will But when you don´t know where to go to, it´s much more likely you´ll stand still You said the rain was good for leaving So there you stood disappearing in the rain You said the rain was good for leaving In the streets downtown, no one knows your name So we´ll make fountains of blood And take a photograph It´s just inside of us We all live in the past

At the very end of everything By Eric Taylor Escudero I came to this place At the very end of everything And I saw your face With sad eyes and a half smile I came to this place And everyone was celebrating The end of the world in their own way Dear bright star I´ve always loved you Dear bright star I always knew you´d leave But you shone last for me I came to this place At the very end of everything So we drink to this day And to all the ones that´ll never I came to this place It was crowded when I first came Still I chose a nice spot To watch all fall Dear bright star I´ll always love you Dear bright star I always knew you´d leave But you shone last for me Oh, the light that makes your eyes bright Is the same light that makes you blind I am lost forever in time I´ll keep one eye open tonight Cause I am watching As you are leaving And I´ll be singing About this forever I painted a picture Of you leaving It was just like this Except for the gray skyline

Before the Dew by Eric Taylor Escudero Before the dew became the drought Before the dream became the thought Before the dawn became the day And we had lost to words to say Before the boys became the men And embrace a life they could not stand Before the colours of the dusk Became the gray that covered us Emily won´t you write me letters Light the gardens of our youth And warm with southern shiny eyes The frosty mornings around you Before the dew became the drought Before the dream became the thought Before the dawn became the day Now we have lost the words to words to say Before young boys join the strive And join the ones that they should fight Before the colours of the sky Became irrelevant and meaningless Emily won´t you write me letters Light the gardens of our youth And warm with southern shiny eyes The frosty mornings around you Emily won´t you write me letters Light the gardens of our youth One frosty morning in your presence Is worth a life of summer moons

Black River 04:34
Black River So the future is the sea approaching the land In a cloudy afternoon Surrounded by friends Some strangers and you So the future is your face turning into mine In this decaying faceless world Surrounded by friends That don´t hear your words Where everybody has no name And everybody dies alone So the future is the wind blowing cold It blows down your town made of cards It´s such a lovely day Such a sky full of stars Still everybody has no name Everybody dies alone

Waiting For The Sun To Come by Eric Taylor Escudero So it´s alright you don´t know me You know tonight they´ll star looking for me But they won´t find us No they won´t find us One minute is too short when we´re dying But it takes one life in this silence Lost in your eyes Lost in your life So don´t start telling jokes or old love stories Of a remote past, our forgotten glory That´s gone for so long It feels like so long since yesterday When you had to make this so much harder You love feeling you have no ground to fall on You had to make this so much harder A day becomes a day when the sun shines brighter Than all the darkness that surrounds her We´re waiting for it We´re waiting for the sun to come We´re waiting for it Because when the sun comes back you´ll feel much better And when it leaves I hope it won´t take the letters That you wrote for me That you wrote with your heart That you wrote for me You said life flies by in different shades of light And you´ll live it like a bag in the wind Waiting to be blown high It´s romantic, it´s a movie It´s romantic, it´s a tidal wave It´s romantic, it´s a movie And sometimes it´s more than I can take Still it makes life beautiful You look so beautiful It makes life beautiful You look so beautiful tonight.

The Uncountable Colours Of The Sky by Eric Taylor Escudero “There´s no reason to be leaving” It was already gone There was no reason to believe it, i was already running “Oh darling, what are you running from?” In the beach we spend our summers looking at the sky In a spectacle of life the day was fighting the night And we saw uncountable colours There´s a difference between what we see and what things are Specially when what we see is our reflections in the mirror And your eyes see the reflection of your mind Your eyes bring out what is inside Inside was a tropical tree that was so much older than me Though the flowers were all pink Some of them would bloom white Or any other colours we chose So many other colours we chose And we saw uncountable colours And we saw uncountable colours We saw for once and forever And we saw uncountable colours

Big City Lights by Eric Taylor Escudero So long, So lonesome Gone with so much to do And brother As you´re leaving I realize how much i´m stuck Cause you´re free forever Cause your fears have never trapped you Cause you´re older than me In the things that you choose So when you come back Will you tell me what life is like Outside the big city lights Where we were born The problem With constant laughter Is the problem with constant tears The only use for them Is showing our most intolerable despair And to make all this money I´ve lived the most empty life I spent all my money Trying to forget it What are the words that I should say Before kissing your mouth Before asking your name Before saying i´m sorry for both of us So when you come back Will you tell me what love is like Outside the big city lights Where we were born You say sometimes you´re sorry For all the things you know For never belonging Cause you know that all is wrong You said you had to leave To remember what life is like Outside of the gates Of the tyranny of mankind That have trapped us helpless That have locked us blind You shouldn´t believe everything you see But you should believe me So when you come back Will you tell me what freedom is like Outside the big city lights Where we were born

The Spinning Of The World[ by Eric Taylor Escudero So I said baby you´re the best She said “go with all the rest There´s nothing here for you, though you really don´t need much You can go, but will you just keep in touch” I said “I need sometime alone I guess i have found a new home I´ll spend some days there, them i´ll come back and take you We can live our lives just like we wanted to” “I´ve spent some thought, I think I´m right We seem to be two of a kind And though we´re not, sometimes we seem so far away From all the faceless crowd that has nothing to say And she said “Oh, you´re such a fool” “But I´m so much like you” I write songs but i can´t sing And I guess I was just being mean When I said the things that i just said to you I wasn´t serious and most of them weren´t true You know once i was someone This introspective writer kind But now i just write all this names on the walls Hoping for the day this land will finally fall And I write “Oh, you´re all so wrong” “And I just though you should know” I´ve never really gone too far I´ve never really tried too hard All the days they just passed flying through my eyes And in my apathy you see the marks of time I´ll try to hold the winter back I know some people who´ve done that And for all days I will be following their steps If you decided to be, you should be the best But snow falls down eventually And turns white all the things you see And If the spinning of the world has left you sick It´s spinning faster everyday, be sure of it We all die so young.

We Were Young and It Was Morning part 2 by Eric Taylor Escudero Darling, what´s it inside your eyes? There must be something wrong As if they lost their light We´ll return To the summers gone Well it is summer now In the streets we owned Where the sun shone much brighter than today And we were young and it was morning The sun shone much brighter than today And we were young and it was morning It was dawn (the) dawn It was the spring of time Because the world began When we first opened our eyes We were one With the shade of trees With the city nights With southern cloudless skies And the sun shone much brighter than today For we were young and it was morning And the sun shone much brighter than today When we were young and it was morning Well it is gone It is now Did you see someone pass outside our house at (last) night So now We give it all away We throw it all away It was dawn dawn All the world was new There was nothing wrong We never sang the blues And the sun shone much brighter than today For we were young and it was morning And the sun shone much brighter than today For we were young and it was morning The sun shone no brighter than today But we were young and it was morning.
